Welcome to the beginning of the Park Avenue Mercantile website. Please use the navigation tabs to the left to view specific details of what we offer. Plans are to have everything itemized on the website, but for now we're focusing on the brick and mortar store. For now, the website will be limited to information only.  Please call the store if you need anything, we are here to service the needs of the home brewer or vintner. We are always happy to find you a product or a recipe for your home brewing hobby, or answer any questions you may have about the brewing process.

Beer brewing can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. We are offering free basic and advanced brewing classes. All classes are listed on the front page of the site. We also send out a monthly class schedule; be sure to sign up for our email list!

Our basic class will make a beer using malt extract as the base with steeping grains and hops to provide color, flavor and finish.

The advanced class is at least once a month and is an all grain brewing class that goes over how single step mash infusion is done and also covers the different enzymes used to enhance the mash process.  The advanced class technically ends with mash out, but most people hang out until the batch of beer is in the fermenter. To the best of our knowledge these are the first beer brewing classes offered in Idaho Falls.
